19.4.1
The Licensee shall preserve the following records/information for at least one year or as directed by the commission or LI authorized entities:
(a) CDR, IPDR, TDR, system logs, or audit trails related to CDR changes, network traffic data, QoS and KPI reports with base data, and official correspondence.
(b) IPDRs must contain information such as source and destination IP addresses (both public and private), session start and end times, data volume, service identifiers, subscriber identity, and network resource utilization details. These IPDRs must be generated, stored, and maintained for each IP session according to formats and frequency prescribed by the Commission.
(c) Media Access Control (MAC) addresses of all devices used by both the Licensee and their subscribers must be preserved and provided upon request by the Commission.
(d) User's history records, system failure records, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traffic data, and bandwidth utilization records for individual users, logged daily.
(e) Data session logs/information along with IP addresses for one year for scrutiny. The Licensee does not need permission to delete records not instructed to be retained.
19.4.2
If any records are deleted after the initial one-year period, the Licensee must still preserve any particular record if specifically instructed by the Commission or law enforcement agencies.
19.4.3
All subscriber, communication, traffic, network, and operations-related data must be stored within the territory of Bangladesh, unless written authorization for storage elsewhere is obtained from the Commission.
